ON-SITE SECURITY FOR CAUSEWAY BRIDGES

PROBLEM

The Causeway Pedestrian and Cyclist Bridges, located in a high-traffic area, required robust security measures to ensure the safety of users and the maintenance of infrastructure. The presence of pedestrians and cyclists necessitated vigilant security to prevent intrusions, vandalism, and other security threats.

Action

From January 2024, NPB Security has been providing comprehensive security services for the Causeway Pedestrian and Cyclist Bridges.

Our team conducted regular patrols of all three sites (Point Fraser, Harrison Island, and McCallum Park) to monitor for intruders and check for damage or graffiti. We also patrolled the fence lines and riverbank within the compound, ensuring no unauthorised access or damage occurred. Additionally, we monitored the Bike Shed at Point Fraser and responded to camera alerts, deploying guards to investigate any suspicious activity.
