The Yandin and Flat Rocks Wind Farms, operated by Vestas, are situated in remote locations, making them susceptible to unauthorised access and operational disruptions. Ensuring the security of these expansive sites, particularly the equipment and personnel, presented a significant challenge.

Vestas engaged NPB Security to secure these sites from February 2023 to March 2024.

NPB Security conducted detailed site assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and developed a robust security plan. This included 24/7 site surveillance, with regular patrols of the site and fence line to detect and deter trespassers. Gatehouse security was established to manage site access effectively, ensuring only authorised personnel could enter.

To maintain a safe working environment, NPB Security conducted regular drug and alcohol testing for all on-site personnel. Additionally, our team was prepared to respond swiftly to any unusual activity, utilising advanced monitoring technologies and coordinated on-site response protocols.
